The results of Higher Secondary Examination, March 2020 is published. The same is available in the following websites. www.kerala.gov.in, www.dhsekerala.gov.in, www.results.nic.in, www.keralaresults.nic.in, www.results.kitekerala.gov.in, www.prd.kerala.gov.in. The results are also available in PRD Live, Saphalam 2020, iExaMS mobile apps which are available in Google Play Store. The results are subject to further scrutiny and modification.

375655 school going regular students appeared for the Higher Secondary Examination,
March 2020 from 2043 schools and 319782 became eligible for higher studies (EHS),
the percentage of results for this year being 85.13, last year the percentage
was 84.33. The department congratulates especially the 234 candidates who secured
1200 scores out of 1200 and the 18510 students who got A+ in all subjects. Result
statistics reveal that of the 197059 girls who took the exam, 181870 (92.29%)
became eligible for higher studies, while from among the 178596 boys 137912
(77.22%) qualified for higher studies. The statistics for the various streams
show that in the science stream 161661 (88.62%) candidates qualified for higher
studies from the 182414 who took the exam, while in the humanities stream it
is 59949 (77.76%) candidates out of 77095. And in the commerce stream 98172
(84.52%) candidates qualified for higher studies among the 116146 candidates
who appeared for the exam. In the sector wise results the Aided sector tops
with 88.01% (out of 192377 candidates 169316 qualified for higher studies) followed
by the Technical sector 87.94% (1079 candidates out of 1227 became eligible
for higher studies). In the Government sector the percentage of E.H.S is 82.19
(130541 candidates qualified for higher studies out of 158828). In the Unaided
sector the percentage of E.H.S is 81.33 (19708 candidates qualified for higher
studies out of 24233). Eligibility for higher studies is D+ or above grade for
all subjects with 30% scores in theory alone and an aggregate total of 30% in
theory, practical evaluation and continuous evaluation taken together. Double
valuation was done for the answer scripts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The tabulations of all subjects were done online. Among the districts, Eranakulam
District with a percentage of 89.02 tops the list while Kasargod is the district
with the lowest percentage ie. 78.68%. Malappuram District tops the list with
2234 candidates scoring A+ grade in all subjects. Among the schools St. Mary’s
HSS Pattom presented the highest number of candidates for
the exam ie. 840 and came out with a pass percentage of 95.95% followed by MSM
HSS
Kallingalparamba, Malappuram (768 candidates 95.18%) and SVHSS Palemed, Malappuram
(762
Candidates 89.63%)
In addition to 375655 school going regular students, students from the following
categories
also appeared for higher secondary examination, March 2020.
The Technical Stream of the Higher Secondary Course is run by technical schools. In the technical Stream 1227 candidates took the higher secondary examination, March 2020 from 15 technical schools. 1079 Candidates became eligible for higher studies, the pass percentage being 87.94. Last year it was 69.72 %. Among the technical stream students who became eligible for higher studies 37 secured A+ in all subjects.
The Art Stream is conducted in the Kalamandalam Art Higher Secondary School. This year 80 students appeared for the higher secondary examination and 79 qualified for higher studies. The pass percentage is 98.75.
49245 candidates appeared for the higher secondary examination, March 2020 in various streams through State Council for Open and Life Long Education (SCOLE) and 21490 qualified for higher studies.
